Planning a wedding at Ragley Hall in Alcester? It’s no surprise, as this stunning venue provides an unforgettable backdrop for your big day. I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding here, and what a day it was! Starting with bridal preparations in Malvern and ending with a magical first dance, this wedding was a photographer’s dream.

The day began at the bride’s parents’ charming farm in Malvern. The rustic setting provided the perfect blend of elegance and homeliness. As the bride and her bridesmaids got ready, the excitement in the air was palpable. The bride looked radiant in her dress, surrounded by her closest friends and family, while the makeup artist and hairstylist worked their magic.

The moment her father saw her for the first time was truly touching, and a reminder of why I love capturing these intimate moments. Once everyone was ready, we set off for the ceremony at a picturesque church nearby.

The ceremony took place at the historic St Mary the Virgin Church in Malvern, a venue steeped in charm and tradition. The bride made her entrance to gasps of admiration, with the sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows adding an ethereal glow.

The groom looked dashing, clearly in awe as he saw his bride walk down the aisle. The vows were heartfelt and after the ceremony, the couple exited to a cascade of confetti, ready to begin their new chapter together.

From the church, we traveled to the majestic Ragley Hall in Alcester. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect; the sunny day highlighted the beauty of the venue’s stunning gardens and architecture. Ragley Hall’s grandeur provided a fantastic backdrop for the couple’s portraits, with every angle offering a picture-perfect setting.

The wedding breakfast was held in the stately hall, where the guests enjoyed delicious food and heartfelt speeches. The couple’s love for each other shone throughout the day, making my job as their photographer an absolute joy.

As the evening drew in, the couple surprised their guests with a costume change before performing a breathtaking ballroom dance for their first dance. Their graceful movements and clear connection made for some incredible photographs.

The night concluded with a live band, who had everyone on their feet, dancing the night away under the glowing lights of Ragley Hall. It was the perfect way to end a perfect day.
