When I was first contacted by Natasha and Patrick to photograph their wedding at Alveston Pastures farm in Stratford upon Avon I was very excited. For me it was the first time I’d ever been there let alone shot a wedding their. As I started to research the wedding venue it became apparent that the venue has lots of grounds for beautiful photos including a field with hay bails and even a maze!
The weather on the day was looking great and I was certainly grateful I’d had my air conditioning fixed in my car the week before. I left early in the morning to start the day photographing the bridal party at Natasha’s parents home, before meeting up with Patrick at the St Francis of assisi church in Solihull.
The ceremony itself was lovely, and the vicar gave me full access to the whole of the church so I could get some creative photos and lots of different angles.
After the ceremony and the confetti photo outside the church, I did a few photos of the bride and groom at the church itself before making our way to Alveston Pastures Farm for the reception.

As I arrived at the farm the sun had really come out to say hello and it was getting warm so it was time to get the group shots out the way so the guys could relax their jackets.
The incredibly kind couple had even provided me with a full 3 course meal on the day which I was more than happy to eat while I was backing up their wedding photos of the day so far. The speeches after the meal were certainly very emotional and there was hardly a dry eye in the room.
I captured the rest of the day as it unfolded as you can see in my favourite photos from the day below.
I wish Natasha and Patrick all the very best in the rest of their lives together.
