The Perfect Day at Bordesley Park

It’s been a while since I blogged my last wedding so I thought it was time to start again. It’s been a couple of years since Charley and Tom’s wedding at the beautiful Bordesley Park, but what a day it was! The weather couldn’t have been better, clear skies, warm sunshine, and a gentle breeze throughout the day. From start to finish, it was a day packed with moments of love, laughter, and those unforgettable happy tears.

Bridal Preparations Full of Excitement

The day kicked off with Charley and her bridal party getting ready. The room was buzzing with excitement, chatter, and the occasional burst of laughter as everyone worked together to make sure Charley looked perfect. Her bridesmaids were so supportive, making sure every detail was just right, from the dress to the finishing touches on her makeup. You could see how much they all cared for her, and that energy filled the room.

While Charley was getting ready, Tom and his groomsmen were doing the same not far away. Tom had this calm confidence about him, though it was clear he was excited for the big moment. He shared some laughs with his groomsmen as they suited up and played pool in the games room, there was definitely a sense of anticipation in the air.

A Stunning Ceremony at Bordesley Park

The ceremony took place in Bordesley Park’s beautifully decorated ceremony room, with sunlight streaming through the windows, making everything feel warm and inviting. Charley walked down the aisle with her mum as unfortunately her dad was ill in hospital at the time and you could really see how much he was missed.

As they exchanged their vows, you could feel the emotion in the room. Their words to each other were heartfelt and genuine, and I could tell this was a moment they’d been waiting for a long time. The whole setting was perfect, with Bordesley Park providing an ideal backdrop for such an important day.

After the ceremony it was time for photos and this is where this venue doesn’t disappoint. The grounds of Bordesley Park offered so many great spots for photos, with its lush greenery and beautiful views.

The Magic of the Venue

Bordesley Park was the perfect venue for Charley and Tom’s wedding. The blend of classic elegance with natural beauty really added to the overall feel of the day. The grounds gave us so much variety for photos, from the picturesque gardens to the charming buildings and marquee where the wedding breakfast was held. In the late afternoon, as the sun started to set, we snuck away for a few intimate shots of the two of them. The soft, golden light made those moments even more magical.

Final Thoughts

Being part of Charley and Tom’s wedding was truly an honor. It’s days like these that remind me why I love being a wedding photographer. From the emotional moments to the fun and laughter that followed, their wedding was one for the books.
