We recently photographed a wedding at St. Augustine’s church in Kenilworth. A beautiful little church with great features inside and out.
We met with the Dominic the groom, half an hour before the wedding to get some quick photos before the ceremony started and the nerves kicked in. It was yet again a lovely sunny day and we really have been blessed this year with fantastic weather at most our weddings. As the guests took their seats Ruth the Bride turned up outside the church with her dad, bridesmaids and flower girls. They had arrived in gleaming VW camper vans, these have become more popular over the years at weddings instead of using traditional wedding cars.
Ceremony at Talton Lodge
After the ceremony we drove to the reception at Talton Lodge in Stratford upon Avon. All I can say about this venue is wow, what a great place. The reception drinks were held outside the main house in the gardens and we used the gardens with their gorgeous views to photograph the group shots. We then walked over to the other part of the grounds where they have permanent teepees laid out all year round, this is where the wedding breakfast was being held. There are also other smaller teepees there that the guests were staying in on the night, which I thought was a fantastic and unique idea.
The rest of the day can be seen in the photos below, it was a great day with a fantastic and unique reception venue.
We really enjoyed their wedding and we wish Ruth and Dominic all the happiness in the future together.
